EAST 19 is in Bloubergrand, halfway between the world famous windsurfing beaches of Sunset Beach and Big Bay, Bloubergstrand. We are 1 km from the beach and close to a large shopping mall with supermarkets, restaurants, surf shop, clothing boutiques and movie houses. The main night clubs and bars in Tableview are also within a 1 km radius from the house. We are thus perfectly positioned for all your windsurfing and holiday needs. We have been specialising in windsurfer accommodation for 6 years now. Neil and Ian are both avid windsurfers. The coastline where we live has the following world famous surfspots within a 5km radius: Milnerton, Sunset Beach, Dolphin Beach, Table View, Big Bay, Derde Steen, Haakgat and Van Riebeekstrand. All these spots work during the summer months when the predominant South Easterly wind blows sideshore on this coastline. Combine excellent sailing conditions with an inexpensive western lifestyle and many famous tourist destinations close by for when the wind is quiet and you will realise why approximately 2000 windsurfers visit our area for the summer.
